In a remarkable case of incompetence, the analysts seem to be unable to perform simple math.

Zen tapeing out in "a few months" puts tapeout around the march time frame. That mean Silicon in June at best with revenue starting in June 2017 at best according to AMD's own statement that it is typically 12-14 months from silicon to product availability. This of course ignores the fact that server products have a much longer validation process due to their need to operate in a multi socket environment with ECC and cache coherency problems much more complex than a single socket desktop system. Yet nobody questions AMD's schedule which still calls for revenue starting in 2016. This is a repeat of past schedule smoke and mirrors which bamboozled the last generation of AMD faithful and led to the famous "Parts is Parts" thesis by our now departed poster FPG.
