The quote by Dr. Bast in the recent MDA collaboration extension PR was a disappointingly conservative, and lazy exhibition of thoughtless arrogance on his part! Remembering the release of the Korean poster PR, certain merits of the technology were already defined then and we know that progress has been made since, so for him to say what he did without acknowledging that the tests that MDA set forth for MRX technology have been passed and the technology is ready to be moved into the next phase is inexcusable. The quote by Dr. Hazle better exemplifies the value of the MRX technology in that MDA now believes in it enough to commit more personnel and resources into expediting the advancement to the clinical stage: "MD Anderson now will be committing significant resources across biology, chemistry and computational methods to work with Senior Scientific to make the MRX technology commercially ready."
