I'm not misusing any words at all. It's not a problem of religion vs secularism. It's what the religion is.

OTOH the real militantly secular regimes of the past century, show that's not a path to follow.

And we don't see most of the religions of the world today behaving like ISIS or Mohammed.

Jesus called on God to forgive the people crucifying him as he was dying on the cross. He was the OPPOSITE of Mohammed. The other major religions of the world, even if they weren't founded by the Son of God, their originators were at least civilized human beings. Confucius was NOT the leader of a band of robbers in China. Gautama Buddha DIDN'T conquer tribes in India, behead the men and boys and rape and enslave the women and girls. Lao Tze DIDN'T torture anyone to get him to reveal where his money was hidden. Only one religion had such a founder, one who proclaimed himself the ideal Muslim.
