For mass storage, hard drives will be with us for a very long time, especially storing large files like HD video on computer drives.

However, Seagate has had the worst failure rates in the industry and I honestly hope they can change that, but I buy Hitachi (HGST), Western Digital (WD), and Toshiba hard-drives.
