Thank you for responding to my question. You got a good point on sectors. Do you consider sector trends to determine whether you buy a new growth idea stock?

I assume you mean stop loss when you say "SL". I use 10% stop loss as suggested by BTT, which is a good one. To keep my rules/life simpler, I am using stop to manage exits. Every 10% gain, raising stop about 10%. Because of volatility on some stocks, this seems a little too tight. BTT also suggested to give a little more room. If you don't mind, could you share your exit rules that are not the same as BTT's?
