YTD Performance S&P 500 - down 2.59% Russell 2000 - down 6.95% TSX Comp - down 10.99% TSX Small Cap - down 17.72% These numbers do not take into account the drop in value of the Canadian dollar. Taking into account our dollar's depreciation, the Canadian numbers would be much, much worse than shown above. On Wednesday, December 16th, Frances Horodelski in her morning newsletter from BNN listed some numbers. Frances is always a good read. -25.38% - TSX return, year to date, in U.S. dollars – the worst of the major markets in the world. So, here we go - six and a half trading days left in 2015.
