Shalom, I can see I am about to enter another arguement here. I see in your post the opposite of what is said here. I see that they are taken by the Lord and the ones left will suffer the flood and the vultures. But let me say the Jews strained out a gnat( reading things into scriptures that became law to them ) and swallowed a camel. That is missing the Messiah so I encourage everyone to keep an open mind about events coming. I would not want the responsibility of telling belivers the rapture 100% will come and you will not have to suffer.If they are wrong and these people who have been taught this fall away because they say nothing they told us was true then fall from the faith. We are under grace but I hope we have a concience. Personally I hope for a pretribulation Rapture but if I suffer I know that can happen and pray to stand firm to the end. The Lord used an analogy of the clouds coming as seeing the times and events coming, this is interesting because you can not see of it will rain or the kind of storm it is until it gets closer.
