Hi puppy,

When paper trading there's no limit to the number strategies you can work with . . folks that like to trade a lot can use a lot of different ideas . .. folks looking to trade only when the odds are most favorable, when every factor they feel is important is met will buy and sell only when all those conditions on that paper trade checklist are met . .

there's a variety of ways to trade . . I suspect many that do the best have figured out what works for them and most of these are doing something quite similar . . ..

Most folks look to be told what to do . . . that's understandable . . . few have the patience and discipline to learn what or how to do things . . even when told most won't do what told, even when they think the are . .

that's another reason to paper trade . . mistakes that are made are remedied without loss and the emotional impact . . the knowledge gained when paper trading pays off . . . successful trading isn't about every trade working out . . an important lesson that takes time to learn is that some of the perfectly timed buys and sells won't work out . . its the ones that do that produce the profits . . to attain those big gains the trader has to execute on a consistent manner .. .

consistent execution in trading isn't much different than in most professions . . few can do it consistently well until its been practiced repeatedly . .

my thoughts for what they are worth . .
