I'm not generally a big proponent of conspiracy theory, but we've seen gold spike out of upper downtrend lines, ever since the high, only to be smashed down against all normal probableTA movement.
Even with 1000 to 889 as an eventual bottom, upside possibilities have been artificially crushed and MUXs very large short positions have had no trouble backing it down when under a normal market it should have run much higher on the bounces. IMHO.
