btw, I surely plan to get out of the city when I retire. The infrastructure / property tax overhead is becoming just huge, and will accelerate in the next few years. 70+ year old water system is being ignored and will cost billions to renovate. Roads a mess. Projects like the highway 99 tunnel already billions over budget and they have an enormous amount of risk yet. Light Rail on the next ballot will be seeking a billion dollars a year for 15 years to upgrade the system.
