Good morning Sonki, talking about being shot in that analyst bashing link. I just listened to Stock Talk on CNBC. I can't believe that they would present us with this perennial bear Robin Griffiths right before Christmas. They have him on quite frequently. He is now calling for a dow of 6800. Talking about informed and prepared!! Everytime a viewer called in he had to shuffle through his papers to find that particular stock so he could talk about it. When it came to TXN he could not even talk about their products, he didn't know, but he knew all kinds of things the stock is going to do. He does think it will go up next year according to his TA. That reminds me of that post on your bashing thread where a poster said he was a previous analyst and most of the bashing of the analysts is rightly deserved, since they really cannot forecast more than a cpl. of minutes in advance or something like that. He said, they are using that "Attaboy" phrase. They ask each other in the evening, what do you think about this or that stock and then they talk about it and say" Attaboy". The stock that gets the most "Attaboy" is the one that will be hyped and goes up the next day. This is what we have to base our information on. That is why I just listen to them and then check it out all I can on the net. But of course, we have a hard time going against the tide with those guys. They are like fish in the ocean. TOO MANY!! I think I will go and put this post on from that former analyst. So whoever reads this make sure you read my next post to all. Sonny P.S. I found it in time to put on here too. Message 3030397
