Hi Greg, Thanks a ton for the responses, it has helped a lot. I also have mutual funds that I dont touch (Contrafund, Fidelity, has been good to me over the years) and a few that I shouldnt have!!! But yes, I have at least five years, so maybe shouldnt dispair, just get out of margin and use it for daytrades only. I totally agree that this will be a wired world. But I am afraid that in some ways it will be a less desirable world too, because of loss of privacy and terrible loss of freedoms. But maybe not, maybe the computer will be the champion of individual rights in the end as more and more people learn things they never dreamed of.
At any rate, I'll hold on to intc and compaq and maybe get rid of most else.
T has done wonderfully lately, hasnt it? Good choice. I got out of it a long time ago after making a great gain, watched it tank and it has come roaring back.
