Talked with IR today and asked if there were any indications of lower day rates in the near future. The answer is no. There might be some slowdown this time of year, a long established seasonal pattern, but this will reverse itself in Jan.

The lady I talked to indicated they have a lot of trouble with some analysts as they do not understand this industry. For example, some do not understand the difference between a production platform and an exploration platform. One issued a negative report based on the sale of some tugboats somehow reading into to the transaction some sort of trend for the industry as a whole.

Thought those comments would be of interest.
