I'm going to be in Montana early to mid-January. At different times I will be within a few hours of Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. Not exactly the idea time to go (unless your in to snowshoeing, skiing, or snow mobiles). Many of the roads in the parks are closed to cars this time of year because of snow. But I don't get to pick the time.

While looking in to the parks I saw this -
