Thanks for starting this thread - it's very useful! To add my anecdotal evidence - it seems to me that my US colleagues and friends are not very concerned about the "Asia crisis", but when I talk to those working in Asia the story is different. The Asians are busy adapting their plans to the new circumstances. I should say that the Asians have to, whereas those in the US so far can still focus on their immediate lives and work, which for the most part is not Asia-driven. Of course the question is how long should/can the US ignore Asia... Dave
