Look at APU, yielding 10.4%

Josh Peters has it in his dividend select portfolio, and I have it in mine

Three and five year dividend growth rates of a little under and a little over 5%. While an MLP, it is more like an unregulated utility.

I am not averse to higher yield stocks - I have several in REITS, utilities and telecoms, with APU being my only MLP. I am darn picky about the ones I select, though. Dividend growth is a requirement that my whole portfolio is subject to. No growth, or even worse a cut and the stock is sold and replaced.
