But that isn't direct support.

OK, I think I will have to take a step backwards to get my point across.

It was the USA (mainly) that created the Taliban, Al Qaida, and ISIS. I know I backtracked on the Taliban, but I think I need to re introduce them as a factor in my argument.

Does that make my position more clear to you?

I will clarify further because you stated my POV was kind of silly.

Ref:-

They haven't supported ISIS at all (unless you count giving weapons to the Iraqi army, and to factions in Syria, that were stolen by ISIS as supporting ISIS, or unless you count supporting tribal militias that were fighting ISIS's predecessor, Al Qaeda in Iraq (before splitting from Al Qaeda and reforming in to ISIS), when some of those tribes later became allies with or part of ISIS).

"Plausible deniability" only works so far with me. Maybe you could convince a jury that there was a chance they were not the primary agent creating all the trouble, but as soon as I see repeat situations, and there are several, sorry the "plausible deniability" goes where it belongs as far as I am concerned, and I don't believe what I am told at all.

ISIS, Taliban, Al Qaeda dont just create themselves. They need powerful backing. The USA is and has been very influential in these regions, been a hopeless failure too if you watch the videos, and so has Britain. But they have been influential all the same.

The soldiers stories and POV in those vidoes say it best. Listen to them.

If you still think my view is silly fair enough, I would love to know why you think that, but I may just leave it to the general reader to make up their own minds rather then add further comment.

If you dont want organizations like ISIS, Taliban, and Al Qaeda creating terrorist threats, you dont intervene in their counties, and drop bombs on their population centers. If you you start a war with them, the necessary background work needs to be done first, and clear objectives set.

Its clear to me we (USA, UK, etc) don't have a clue what we are doing in Afghanistan, but a lot of these "screw ups" in Iraq etc are very deliberate indeed.
