#1 - Is false, or at least a very extreme and essentially unsupported idea.
"unsupported idea"
You really do sound like one of those scientists the cigarette companies hired in the 1970's to convince the general public smoking tobacco didn't harm your health. You are using the most convoluted logic to try and prove a miniscule point, i.e we never physically saw President Regan actually give Osama Bin Laden several billion $ and hand over the stinger missiles.
The usa S-W-A-M-P-E-D Afghansiatan with money to buy arms. The CIA were in it so deep they could not be in it any deeper.
and now we are to believe you there are no "links".
Operation Cyclone was the code name for the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) program to arm and finance the Afghan mujahideen prior to and during the Soviet war in Afghanistan, from 1979 to 1989. The program leaned heavily towards supporting militant Islamic groups that were favored by the regime of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq in neighboring Pakistan, rather than other, less ideological Afghan resistance groups that had also been fighting the Marxist-oriented Democratic Republic of Afghanistan regime since before the Soviet intervention. [1] Operation Cyclone was one of the longest and most expensive covert CIA operations ever undertaken; [2] funding began with $20–$30 million per year in 1980 and rose to $630 million per year in 1987. [1]Funding continued after 1989 as the mujahideen battled the forces of Mohammad Najibullah's PDPA during the civil war in Afghanistan (1989–1992). [3]

Lets just read some detail here on Najibullah.
"Throughout his tenure, he tried to build support for his government. Najibullah even tried to portray his government as Islamic, and in the 1990 constitution the country officially became an Islamic state and all references of communism were removed. This change, coupled with others, did not win Najibullah any significant support. With the dissolution of the Soviet Union in December 1991, Najibullah was left without foreign aid. This, coupled with the internal collapse of his government, led to his ousting from power in April 1992. Najibullah lived in the United Nations headquarters in Kabul until 1996, when the Taliban took Kabul. Najibullah is said to have been castrated by the Taliban, and he was dragged behind a truck in the streets of Kabul before being publicly hanged".
and the CIA had nothing do do with those set of events?
Really?
Sorry, I find that very hard to believe at all.
The money and arms provided by the CIA in Afghanistan has been one of the the biggest drivers of violence in that region.
