If I understand your question, the smaller wave has the same influence only in respect to the relative size and proportion of the wave. You would not want to use a minor wave measurement to call a major market turn unless it occurred at the midline of a larger wave as well.

Also, to pick minor trading cycle overbought and oversold conditions, don't wait for the market to move to a larger cycle pitchfork. You need to work within the framework of the relative size of the wave you are addressing at the time.

It's so easy to do, but a bit tricky to explain. Did I understand your question? Site an example if you can. That might help. (-...-)
