The kid had plenty of time to learn a simple concept that pointing a gun at police officers can be dangerous. Now you can start fantasizing about how it is a society's (whities') fault this kid was pointing a gun at people pretending to be a gansta.
Let's not forget, also, that the kid or someone else, had cut off the orange tip that identified the gun as a toy. He wanted it to look real.

As Bill said, if driving and you get stopped, keep your hands on the wheel in full sight - don't go shuffling in the glove box or console for registration, which could be construed as going for a gun. If out in the open, keep your hands up and in full sight. Don't reach for your belt or inside a jacket.
