Why would you think that? There are twice as many shares now, so the price will have a harder time moving either up or down.

Many big institutions do not invest heavily in stocks that are under $20. Iomega undoubtedly realizes this, as Institutional Ownership of IOM stock has never really happened. So, why not keep the price down, so Individual suckers will think it's "cheap," or "on sale?"
