I understand that SGI has technology coverage in all of the products in the list, but I can't see how I should be optimistic about SGI future. Eight years ago, SGI sat on a graphic technology, which potentially could have afforded SGI a monopoly in this market and blew it big time. Now, everyone is clammering for a piece of action in all of the listed products and SGI is not proven as a cut throat competitor. BTW, not sure if one of my old friends in the middle level executive rank at SGI read this thread, but 8 years ago I myself asked him the question why SGI did not attempt to massively deploy its graphic technology. His response was very typical of one who worked for a company who overestimated its technological advantage and opted for a high margin captive market instead of the low margin mass market. -Al
