By Regulation, Insiders must report within 5 Calendar Days (28th), though what effect the Holidays, Xmas and Boxing Day may be valid reasoning for delayed reporting?

Late Filings due occur and are permitted within reason or if not by penalty.

Can't see In-the-Money Options going unexercised. Even if you don't have the cash there is Broker Assistance and as you say, all should be clear by Friday.
