Does CYMI have any business with South Korea? Indirectly. Cymer's DUV excimer lasers are bought principally by Nikon (Japan), Canon (Japan), ASM (Netherlands), and ASV (USA), who integrate them into stepper tools. These tools are then sold to chip makers around the world including South Korea (Samsung, in particular). While Cymer's exposure to Korea is limited and indirect (Cymer gets paid in US $) Korea really needs to buy the DUV tools in order to stay competitive in DRAMS market -- a principal export. From what I read the expectatition is that DUV tools purchases by S. Korea will escape the trimming and pushout that other imports like consumer goods will undoubtedly experience. Tulvio
