I once posted a statistic about the top states in the USA with high murder rates and suggested the rest of the country is a model for the world of peace and calm. Shepard declared my statistic to be unfair because, he said, those states had high populations of black people. I hadn't noticed or checked but either Shepard did check or took it for granted. However, I don't always trust his declarations.
