Zeta, thanks for stopping by. Happy and prosperous 2016 to you and all others on this thread. I am sure that all of us on this thread once again felt proud to be an American with Obama as our President. It is unfortunate that a small crowd refuses to join the large world populace who consider Obama their "most admired man"

He connects so well with people from the street. Recall his singing "Amazing Grace" even though he couldn't sing it that well, he sang it none the same to humor us. And the way he hit the Republican candidates when he observed "These guys cannot face the debate moderators, how can they face Putin." His use of the Blackberry, his gifting of a iPod to Queen Elizabeth etc. etc. demonstrates his common man touch. One who grew up amongst us, in a multi racial fatherless family and kept in touch with his roots even while he walked with kings and queen.

His election was America's tribute to his "mother" who proudly held up her "black son" during those days when racism was rampant. I consider her as the "Rosa Parks" of the white community.
