think "yeah, this might be cheap, but things may go badly in this way or other way, so maybe it's a buy, but maybe not".

That's my feeling about alot of what I have. I favor diversification for that reason. I've gone heavy in a few times (I consider that 10%+ of portfolio), and it just makes me nervous. MSFT and INTC are the only two companies that I think I've ever gone that heavy with in recent memory / and I felt more clear headed/comfortable with those when I just backed them down to 5-6%. Being able to "not care" about the outcome seems to be beneficial to give a position time to work out.
