Bernie Goetz contrasted with Kevin J Sutherland: They were both young urban liberal subway riding fellows. Goetz thought is was better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Sutherland never heard of that and wouldn't have believed it. He was the type who think guns are likely to kill their owners and are useless for self defense. Bernie Goetz is alive today at age 68.
