Thanks for the feedback. I was afraid you might have been seduced by Chef John's melodious voice. I like him and generally check him out when I'm trying something new. Also, Simply Recipes.

Glad it worked out for you. I said I wouldn't cook a prime rib again because carving is a hassle, but I've been known to change my mind. Especially when food is involved.

I wonder if a boneless roast might need different time and temperatures.
