Ben was trying, he was too soft spoken to begin with when later these guys should have started hammering out their personal platforms broadly, then added brushstrokes later, but be specific. I know he did but most importantly didn't have the grasp of foreign /world affairs, military, the markets etc. One applauds him for standing up & running surely, not quite depth & force of personality being president needs. There's a major turn in history we're taking now, shifting balances , new global economy, emerging nations & growing middle classes. We've been giving away our technology or its hacked & our biotechs produce new drugs & given to the world. China is staying focussed & cool, sending students abroad to be educated in #'s now that dwarfs us, Asia Africa still rising populations, you can feel the pressure of major change & we need our best brains to the fore. Kudos to Ben, not the right man but he stood up.
