I don't think now is a good time to invest in oil. Oil and other commodities have responded to the slow down in China.

In addition, modern economies require less energy (oil) input for each dollar of GNP generated due to energy conservation and technological progress. The dependence on oil has been a decreasing need for modern economies.

And I fear that China also has political instabilities that may assert itself within the next 5 years which will present additional challenges to its growth.
