I read today that there are over 700 Grizzly bears in Yellowstone Park. Every once in awhile a person is killed by one of those bears, and most of them don't carry spray. Both of us carry our own spray when hiking in the wilderness. We've heard enough stories to make us realize we could find ourselves confronting a bear at any time while out there.
