44 untimely deaths for investors but how much money had been raised and depleted by the miscreants before their demise and who benefited from them.

That's an excellent question Siegfried. It would not be difficult to guess who benefited the most from trading shares in the companies on that list but we don't want to speculate here because we only deal in facts.

When I think about those 44 failed companies where Duncan and Hoover held senior management positions, I can't help wonder how much money the buy and hold investors lost and how much total retail investor wealth destruction those two individuals caused with the companies on that list.

It appears to me that the only investors who made money with Duncan's and Hoover's failed companies were the traders -swing/day/others. Those two managers have been serial failures with a perfect failure record for their entire careers . Not one success has blemished their record. That in itself is an amazing and startling statistic that should make all current and potential CCB investors wonder if "This time is different". Fortunately, I don't have to make that decision because I don't own any CCB shares and I'm not interested in buying shares in a marble quarry business.
