Ah, carry on, fellas. There is no worry about anything you're saying, because the property makes the company, and CCBers believe the property is there in spades. Add in BD's seeming to do everything right so far, maybe all the good things were saved up for that one dream venture.
By the way, have you seen the share price of all the juniors recently? Not many of those will look good on the resumés, so I guess virtually every startup miner will be run by people who failed miserably in their last go at it. Guess you won't buy any of those.
Yes Grumpy, the junior resources sector is not a great place to put retail investment dollars.
Grumpy you misunderstand my point so I'll elaborate for you. I don't eliminate a prospective investment simply because the management team failed previously. Many CEO's have failed and later went on to success. The issue here is that Duncan and Hoover have a track record of 44 uninterrupted consecutive failures without one success. I'd call that a pattern that should raise alarm for any investor.
You have chosen to ignore history and say "This time is different". I'm not saying that CCB won't be a success but I am saying that history - namely, the facts - indicates that the odds are against a success with the current management team. The added DD bonus is that hoov is employed by CCB so he brings his record of success to the table also.
You say: "There is no worry about anything you're saying, because the property makes the company, and CCBers believe the property is there in spades. Add in BD's seeming to do everything right so far, maybe all the good things were saved up for that one dream venture." Time will tell if those statements were wise or not so wise.
For most junior startups there is little information for investor's DD so I always look at management's track record. Unfortunately with CEO Duncan his totally unprofessional egregious posting behaviour on the SH CCB bullboard was an investment deal breaker for me.
I believe that you are playing against the odds. Good luck with that. |
