penni and all, In spite of my acquitting myself in a less than stellar fashion in the markets during this year, based to no small degree upon my being foolish enough to be seduced by a number of intriguing, but, ultimately, excruciatingly boneheaded and lamebrained suggestions from various personalities at SI who shall remain blessedly nameless for the moment, I can safely say that it has been a truly wonderful and illuminating year for me here at Rambi and its predecessor. (Note: 77-word sentence) I'll be online only intermittently for the next week or so, and I wanted to take a moment to wish you, one and all, the Merriest of Christmases (or whatever). May you all be safe from harm and enjoy the company of loved ones both online and off.
