David,
Don't get into such a tizzy! I am well aware the you have been wrongly libelled by 'Dougie'. No question and we all appreciated your eye opening posts. However, while WE all take the time to figure out what is fact amongst this overwhelming smoke and mirrors, as I am sure you can understand the confusion.
Now, help me understand a few things:
1. What exactly do you think a proxy statement to Argus is going to accomplish? They'll say, yeah OK, and go back to salvaging whever they can for the banks. Did you forget that shareholders are at the very bottom of the chain? No matter what you say or do, no bank is going to be nice guys and not take their cut and grant it to the 'poor' shareholders. I read the form you guys made up. What the heck do you to expect them to say to you?
2. Realizing that the objective is to maximize the value of the entity on behalf of the banks, they will listen to very promising opportunies. I.E. TM coming to them for a buy all offer or JP handing a signed deal, I mean I can go on and on, but the situation is, unless there's a damn good reason to keep the doors open, they will close it. They will not risk another dime unless they are without a doubt gonna get it back.
3. I assuming you agree with 1 & 2 above, you have to come to the conclusion that you aren't going to call a special proxy and make an appeal to Argus for nothing. Now what EXACTLY are you all planning to propose to get them to suggest to keep the doors open? Tears ain't gonna do beans. You know that. So what's the deal here?
3. All I know of your relationship with Camdog is his publically posted remarks to your original posts. Although I read with great interest, I had no control over what was written. I think it is a fair assumption that not all people appreciate a newcomer entering the fray to show them how to do things 'right'. However, I've seen it a hundred times that the original apprehensions soon melts away if respect is earned through performance AND the ability to communicate. That's a fact!
Frankly I wasn't there to form my opinion nor is it my objective to slice hairs on this issue. Point remains, I nor anyone else OUTSIDE of the firm knows what exactly happened and perhaps never will. However, with that said, I understand enough to be concerned. I will say I am far more confident that Jimbo deserves to be fired far more than you ever did.
