Hi OX, you have a fabulous and deep understanding of the markets and history...... I love exchanging perspectives with you..... you are right.... when they are saying that this times things seemed contained..... they are reaching for the old tenant of this time things are different and they are not different this time. When I was discussing how the crash of 1929..... really only became a big deal when the currency markets went into complete disarray in 1931 With the Large Austrian Bank failure.... the British Pound get whacked with a 25% sudden devaluation...... and you are right there with me and several others that I talk to both on SI and In real life. I wish we could bring AJ back as he was the same kind of fount of profound market knowledge and wisdom.... we have a bunch of other excellent contributors on this thread and on SI... like Bob Furman, Rogue, Iso, Entitlement... Chip McVikar... Jon Koplik, Hawkmoon, 3bar. Elroy and over time so many to name. Unfortunately over time we have had a number of really great minds fall by the wayside in terms of participation on SI....... but such is life. John
