The 6/6+ sales were helped by pent up demand for a larger iPhone form factor. That logically is leading to a very difficult compare but, it is critically essential to understand what that signifies.
Looks likely that the first large screen iPhone induced "the mother of all replacement cycles" that pulled-forward some of the replacement sales that would have occurred this year, making for a tough YoY compare that hits both ways. So even *if* FY2016 iPhone sales contract relative to 2015, which seems to be priced into the current valuation, it doesn't mean that 2015 was the peak. As long as Android switchers and immature markets keeps the userbase growing, sales should resume net organic growth "over the long arc of time" (with fluctuations based on the appeal of each year's models).
