Hi Jimi, Just a note to "Thank You" for that link. Spent the day looking at it. I like going direct to the treasury and everything being electronic. Thank you so much for having the concern to check and advise me. Yes I intend to build a 10 year ladder. Looks pretty straight forward to get it built with the greater amounts going to the longer term which has a higher rate. There is federal tax on those and since I live in Texas no state tax applies. Bob
