There’s no reason not to cut the cord in 2016

This may come as a surprise, but it’s been more than 10 years since I had cable TV in my home.

That’s not to say I’m not a fan of a good TV series or a movie — in fact, since we bought our new big-screen TV last year and attached it to a computer via HDMI cable, my family and I have been watching movies and TV shows more than ever before.

It’s simple to set up (here’s a handy guide by Intel), and once you’re done, you end up with the smartest TV on the market, attached to world’s fastest-growing database of fun, excitement and adventure — a streaming service of your choice. What follows is a discussion of the most popular streaming services available, and believe me, there are more of them today than ever before.

This wouldn't work for me yet, as I like to watch my local NFL and MLB teams, as well as local TV for news and such, but at least it's getting closer. I'd like nothing better than to dump my Comcast bill.
