Having a stash of lightning in your fuel tank is science fiction Eric. Like a gasoline powered fuel cell. Theoretically doable, maybe. If not for the problems.

<Why would I want to stop every few miles to wait in long lines?>

Eric, as usual, your comprehension is lacking. What long lines? 7SSS stations would have no lines. A single lane with a 7 second pit stop means no queue [twenty seconds sometimes I suppose]. The Superchargers taking half an hour are the ones which will have huge lines and cover many acres.

How do you propose a Tesla Uber auto-taxi be recharged? Halo while parked would do some of it. But if not parked, and on the move all day, as van deliveries are, what then? Huge battery I suppose.
