marcos, any idea what's going on with B2Gold?
Huge volume this week, maybe a fund / institution exiting?
Did someone not like the shelf offering filed in December?
Very few gold stocks are making new bear market lows llike BTO.
Some are making or are close to multi-year highs - e.g. CEE, CRJ, LSG, RIC, SEA
But most of those stocks also experienced their capitulation lows in 2013.

I wonder if Seabridge will have a repeat of 2008 - 2009, a 4 bagger off the bottom in 7 months.
$17 by the end of February does the trick.

Analyzing the weekly charts, GDX & GDXJ both appear to be setting up for another attempt at breaking out from an extended basing pattern.
Previous attempts failed in the summer of 2014 and the spring of 2015 (ten months apart).
A successful breakout will require higher highs that take out the recent October highs.
We should know by the end of March.
This test also coincides with a period of seasonal strength - the gold stocks typically reach a short term peak around the time of PDAC,
