Most conservatives have had more than enough of any type of bleeding hearts mentality for violent perpetrators.
You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but if I were making the decisions, quick justice is precisely how I would proceed in cases that warrant it. Honestly, how does this give conservatives a bad name? Are you worried about how it appears in eyes of leftists? Who cares what they think?
For clarity, and I have said this before, the type of quick justice that I am advocating should be dispensed in cases where there is conclusive and irrefutable evidence. Examples of this would include clear video evidence, and/or numerous eye witnesses of good character, and/or the suspects freely confessing their crimes to the police. In such cases as any of those, what more needs to be ascertained? If there is clear evidence, let's use common sense and execute the ba$tards in accordance with the law.
I have also posted in the past that an advocate for the criminals should be on hand in the MCU. If doubts about the guilt of those involved arise, then, yes, the case(s) should be remanded to the traditional slower court system with appeals, a lengthy process of discovery, more appeals, etc. Otherwise, if guilt is clearly established, then the authorities should observe the defendant's right to a speedy trial and quickly execute the perpetrators.
Here is a perfect example of a criminal openly confessing to the police. Why is he still alive and appealing?
