I do believe that S. Korea views DUV steppers as a farmer views seed corn. They have to have them for the next crop of chips. Without chips they're out of business. All those fabs will stand idle if they can't compete in the 0.25 nm arena. Korea will they get all the money they need from the US, Japan, and other Asian lenders. Korea is too important a market to let wither. Tulvio
