To all, This is a summary of Value Line's recent postive comments about Borland that was posted by someone on the MF AOL board about a week ago: Value Line comments that the VSGN purchase "looks like a good move" and plans to revise earnings estimates once the deal is closed. Benefits of the merger are described as allowing Borland Developer's applications to run on more different types of computers, as well as VSGN's highly regarded customer sales and consulting force. For me the most interesting comment is the last part--"VSGN's highly regarded customer sales and consulting force." Some of you have posted occassionally that Borland fails big time on customer relations and customer support. I'm curious if any of you see this as a positive that has not received much attention to date. If Borland's customer relations are in bad shape, wouldn't this be a major plus for the company? I don't know very much about Visigenic, but this is a potentially positive aspect of the company TIA for your comments, and have a great holiday, Sam Scrutchins
