| | | Conservatism is about the enduring customs and traditions that are naturally selected for over time because they work and lead to longer, safer, happier lives. Indeed, the most desirable, beneficial, and sustainable way of life becomes customary for people over time. That's why conservatism will endure.
In contrast, all forms of leftism are certainly not sustainable over time and will ultimately fail because the risky behaviors of the left are not selected for. All forms of leftism are too chaotic, costly, oppressive, unfair, and self-defeating to endure for very long. That's why we often see leftists and their children dying at much younger ages from risky behaviors!
Even if the leftists killed every conservative on Earth and only leftists remained, some leftists over time would gradually adopt ways of living longer, healthier lives. In essence, they would be adopting conservative lifestyles. They would spread their genes and teach their children how to live longer, healthier, happier lives. Meanwhile, the other who persisted in their leftist ways would continue to parish prematurely through the dangerous excesses and risks associated with leftist patterns of behavior. |
