I can't help but think that some of the fall in the price of oil was to "punish" Russia economically.....a decision made similar to "sanctions" but done more on the QT between the US and the Saudis. Yes, it hurts a lot of people but it's probably been the hardest of Russia.

There has to be consensus in we're all in this together - my bet is even Russia would like a stronger price for oil and their currency.
