You say probably not significantly but just a 5% drop in traffic and sales would be very significant for most stores, theatres or restaurants.

Right now it's all theoretical and it will take months to get any real data.

Texas is a little different than other parts of the country and maybe it won't be a big deal there but I've already heard that some Police Administrations have beefed up their call centers because they expect people to call in and report there are people carrying guns in their neighborhood.

Apparently they are supposed to tell those callers that it's legal to do that now and the police can't do anything about it.

I have a feeling that might bother some people but you don't seem to think so and I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

When there are several police officers "firing" at a suspected shooter there is a much greater chance of innocent bystanders being shot so I don't see how you can say that several armed citizens all shooting at somebody they "think" is a threat without any real coordination or communication will not be quite a bit more dangerous.

At least with cops you've got a reasonable expectation that they've got some training and aren't mentally deficient but with the way they hand out gun permits I'm not sure that's going to be the case with ALL the armed civilians.
