I AM BACK ONLINE FULLY HEALED....FOR THE MOMENT!!!!!!!!

I had a black screen, mouse functional but activity light in front of my Toshiba laptop win7pro was blinking, showing there was activity. I concluded that this was a forced upgrade to win 10. This activity went on for 2 days with the cover open or if the cover was closed

Josh tried to give me a few hints, but we could not get it to work

SO, THIS WAS MY VERY OWN SOLUTION, for the record, in case it happens to you

I had already disconnected my 2ary moniter, per Josh

After seeing the situation unchanged from before...
I disconnected the hard wire connection to the modem. Since this was a laptop, I also disconnected the modem itself. Thus, all connection to the outside world was now lost
I repeatedly booted up til I got the screen asking if I wanted to use safe mode.
I did that
Then I went to system restore and found....
LO and BEHOLD
a restore point from 1/13/16
so you know the rest...
I restored to 1/13/16 and all is good

even the win10 thingie on the lower right of the screen is back

BTW, while in safe mode, before restoring I looked for anything resembling win10 but cud not find anything

Now, I am gonna try a reboot, so if you dont hear from me, we will be at the dumpster
