To be crystal clear though, the BEST cost advantage would be to OWN the resource and thus your only input cost is the cost to mine and process. Eliminating the miner's profit and the miner's ability to sell the product to other end users is the best solution for reducing the graphite portion of the battery cost (not to mention the greener solution & the NA safe mining area)
